Patty Betita says sorry for comment about James Reid
14 Jun – Model Patty Betita has recently apologised for her remark about James Reid that has now angered the actor's legions of fans.
As reported on Push, the issue sparked earlier this week, when the model posted a photo with actor Daniel Padilla at the Binibining Pilipinas 2019, captioning it, "The highlight of my night was this moment with [Daniel Padilla]."
When a follower suggested that she should take a photo with James Reid and Nadine Lustre next time, she responded, "[He's not] friendly!"
Following the backlash she received from Reid's fans and followers of JaDine, Betita took to social media to say sorry.
She wrote, "I didn't realize the gravity of what I thought was just my opinion. Obviously made so many JaDine fans seething with anger attacking me. Ok, I sincerely apologise if I hurt your feelings. I judged an innocent guy and made a careless comment.
"Respect begets respect. Thank you to the others who personally messaged me and encouraged me to just come out on Twitter where I guess #fortherecord was created alluding to me and humbly apologise. So there. [Peace out] everyone and God bless us all," she added.
