Patterson CEO Anderson adds chairman duties to his role
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Patterson Cos. Inc. said Monday that the company's President and CEO Scott Anderson will take on the added role of chairman of the board in April.
Anderson, 46, has been CEO since 2010. He succeeds Peter Frechette, a former company CEO who has been chairman since 1985. Frechette, 75, has been named chairman emeritus and will serve out his current term as a director, which ends in September.
Patterson, based in St. Paul, Minn., is a distributor of dental, veterinary and rehabilitation equipment and other products.
The company's shares fell 3 cents to $37.71, in line with broader market trends.
