“One lucky winner will seize this extraordinary opportunity, ensuring their Chicken Finger cravings are satisfied until the next total eclipse graces our skies,” a press release states.

For restaurants along the eclipse’s “path of Toast-tality,” Cane’s has also promised complimentary Texas toast with every combo purchased “to fuel their eclipse day happenings,” the release states.

What is a total solar eclipse?

A total eclipse occurs when the silhouette of the moon completely covers the sun, leaving only the sun’s corona visible around its edges, according to the Clark Planetarium.

On April 8, a total solar eclipse will be visible across the U.S. — and for the last time until 2044.

The eclipse will reportedly move up from southern Texas and through northern Maine over an hour, so eclipse watchers from Utah will have to travel if they want to see it in totality.

“However,” the planetarium said, “anyone who has seen a total eclipse will agree that it will be time and travel well spent.”

All the states in the U.S. will experience a partial solar eclipse to some degree; in Utah, the planetarium said the eclipse will cover around 50%.

As seen from Salt Lake City, the eclipse will begin at 11:25 a.m. and last until 1:41 p.m., with maximum coverage of 48.5% occurring at 12:32 p.m., according to the planetarium.
