What to do in the Paseo Arts District this April

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – As the weather begins to warm up, here’s what you can look forward to this April in the Paseo Arts District.

According to the Paseo, there’s events planned throughout the month of April for the community to enjoy as spring returns to Oklahoma City.

LOCAL NEWS: Oklahoma City Zoo celebrates Bird Awareness Day

April 5

First Gallery Walk hosts more than 80 artists and more than 25 businesses and galleries, all within walking distance on Friday, April 5.

Also on Friday, SixTwelve: Concert Series is bringing Computer Girl and DJ Lite Brite for April’s First Friday concert.

April 11

From 11:45 a.m. to 7:45 p.m., the Art and Souls: Grand Opening Celebration is scheduled to welcome the Paseo’s newest business. Arts & Souls Metaphysical Boutique offers a variety of products focused on “enhancing your spiritual journey”.

April 24

Polygonal Possibilities with Patrick and Glen is planned for Wednesday, April 24. Participants will be learning about 3D sculpting, beginning with a hardwood polygon frame that they can make their own with repurposed materials.

April 27

Literati Press: Independent Bookstore Trail is planned for Saturday, April 27, in celebration of Independent Bookstore Day. The community is invited to explore the Paseo’s bookstores from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Paseo is also home to a variety of galleries, stores, restaurants and businesses.
