Party Time! Coco Austin Celebrates Daughter’s Birthday After Delaying Festivities to Mourn Dog’s Death

Coco Austin and Ice T‘s little angel Chanel Nicole is celebrating turning the big 1!
The proud mom took to Instagram recently to share photos from her baby girl’s party, which the family held on Sunday.
“Moments …… Ice and I are proud parents!” Austin, 37, captioned a shot of the family of three, all smiles amidst balloons spelling out “CHANEL” and the birthday girl dressed in a tulle-laden pink dress.
“1st Birthday went down beautifully! #ChanelNicole1,” Austin added.

The celebration comes a week after the family said goodbye to their beloved bulldog Spartacus, A.K.A. “Sparty,” who died from complications related to knee surgery.
“Finally celebrating my birthday later on today! (After a week delay),” read the caption accompanying an adorable photo of Chanel on her own dedicated Instagram account, showing the tot decked out in a hot-pink celebratory ensemble, complete with a fuzzy birthday hat.
The text continues, “They put me in this hat the minute I woke up. I’m still sleepy … I haven’t even woken up … ”
The party was full of love from friends and family, while of course ensuring the stylish tot had all her favorite things surrounding her. Mickey and Minnie Mouse, the color pink, tons of glitter, multiple costume changes and more made the day one for the books.
“My Birthday was magical! So many people singing to me I was in a trance,” read the text next to a photo of Austin holding Chanel in front of her two-tiered pink and white confection, while the little girl seems undeniably entranced by the custom cake’s sparkler candles.
“Mom and I changed into Cinderella dresses from @isabella_couture headband by @miracle_bowtique Cake by @cakesbycoley,” the caption continues.
The wait seemed definitely worth it — and gave Chanel’s parents time to give their little girl’s first birthday the attention it deserved.
“Cuz I’ve been mourning over Spartacus I put Chanel’s Birthday on hold (which was today) I feel I need 2 honor Sparty before a celebration,” Austin tweeted on Nov. 28, Chanel’s actual birthday.
