Parts of Pocahontas County to be affected by planned power outage

POCAHONTAS COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — A planned power outage for facility upgrades will affect parts of Pocahontas County.

Power outage planned for parts of Pocahontas County

The planned power outage will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. About 355 customers in the Green Bank, Marlinton, and Dunmore areas of Pocahontas County will be affected by the outage.

Those who will be affected by the outage will get an automated call to the phone number associated with their account. Anyone with questions about the planned power outage can call 800-686-0022.
