Parkland College encourages donations for Day of Giving 2024

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Feb. 29 marks the Parkland College Foundation’s Day of Giving, a yearly fundraiser where the community can make an impact on Parkland College students and their academic experiences.

The effort allows anyone to donate to any scholarship, department, or program of their choice. Exclusive Parkland socks will be given out for gifts of $60 or more.

UI college accidentally sends false acceptance emails

Parkland Giving Day donations provide scholarships to help students with tuition, fees, and materials. They can also go towards Creating Impact funds, which are annual unrestricted gifts to support the most urgent needs of academic programs.

For last year’s Day of Living, more than $55,386 was donated. All funds go directly to Parkland College and its students.
