Parker scores 32 points as Spurs down Raptors 111-106 in double overtime

TORONTO - Tony Parker scored seven of his game-high 32 points in double overtime as the San Antonio Spurs handed the Toronto Raptors their fourth straight loss, 111-106 on Sunday afternoon.

Tim Duncan added 26 for the Spurs (11-3), who improved to 3-0 on their current seven-game road trip.

DeMar DeRozan led Toronto (3-11) with 29 points while rookie Jonas Valanciunas added a career-high 22 points with seven rebounds and three blocks.

Kyle Lowry scored 20 points and Ed Davis had 15 points and 14 rebounds for the Raptors, who have lost their past three games by a combined seven points.

With just nine tenths of a second remaining, DeRozan forced a second overtime when he drove the basket and put in his own rebound to tie the game at 97.

Tied 88-88 with a one-tenth of a second remaining in regulation, Jose Calderon in-bounded to Andrea Bargnani, whose no-look attempt as time expired didn’t register as a shot on the score sheet, sending the game into overtime.

Bargnani struggled all game and finished an abysmal 2-of-19 for four points.

Parker came in averaging 17.1 points in 19 career games against Toronto, which has lost four straight to San Antonio.
