Parker Road reopens after semi loses control

DENVER (KDVR) — Northbound Parker Road was shut down on Friday after a semi-truck lost control and rolled.

At around 10:20 a.m. on Friday, the Aurora Police Department tweeted that northbound Parker Road was shut down and traffic was being diverted onto Hampden Avenue.

According to officers, a semitruck lost control and rolled over onto the roadway. Two other vehicles were involved, but no serious injuries were reported.

An adult was taken to a local hospital out of caution.

The roadway opened back up at noon.
