Panthers: It’s time for the rookies to show their skills

The time is now for the young Panthers’ to make good first impressions of what they are capable of doing when they get on the field. A chance to show the skills that have brought them this far. Show the Carolina coaches that their raw talent is ready to be molded into what the Panthers need on the field.

The Panthers addressed their needs during the draft. Part of the need was players in the secondary. James Bradberry, Daryl Worley, Zack Sanchez, Jeremy Cash (linebacker/safety)will all be spending time with coach Steve Wilks. They will be finding out how they fit in the the Panthers scheme of doing things.

That is just the start of things to come for these rookies. There will be the rookies that were drafted by the Panthers and also the undrafted free agents that will be coming in as well. That mini-rookie camp is sometimes a make or break situation for these young players in that the impressions made in mini-camp can go a long way.

It is a must for these young players to put their best foot forward, learn what is taught and learn it well. They need to be sponges and soak up everything that they can learn because those lessons can take them a long way.

The Panthers have a strong group of rookies that can be molded into the players that the Panthers need them to become.
