Pamela Anderson has admitted to being left terrified when a female stalker broke into her house and got into her bed wearing her iconic Baywatch swimsuit.

Anderson, 59, became a household name globally thanks to her breakout role in the '90s lifeguard drama, with her scenes racing across the beach in the skimpy one piece making her world famous.

However, her fame wasn't without its unwanted attention and back in 2001 one stalker took things to the extreme when she broke into Anderson's Malibu home and tried on the red swimsuit in the star's bedroom.

Christine Roth, 27, entered the property via the beach and was subsequently arrested – but Anderson told police she didn't want the swimsuit back.

She told The Sun: "My mom was in hospital and my dad was coming into town so I was preparing a room for him when someone came upstairs and said, 'Pamela, there is someone sleeping in your bed.'

"I was thinking, 'Very Goldilocksy,' like maybe it was my brother's wife or maybe someone sneaked in the back door.

"We went into the room and there was a woman wearing my red bathing suit and speaking French, blonde hair – and then she gave me a letter saying she wanted to touch me and she was there for that, and she had a lot of my clothes under the bed."

The stalker's note read: "I'm not a lesbian, but I dream of you."

Anderson also described how the fan had cut her wrists with glass and taken items including bread and her denim jacket.

She said she felt like she was losing her mind as she got her young sons Brandon and Dylan and went outside.

Anderson was living alone with her children at the time following her divorce from Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee.

She added: "And then the police asked me if I wanted my bathing suit back and I said, 'No, it's OK, thank you very much though. Just give it to her!'"
