Some Palmer Candy being recalled from stores in New Mexico and Texas

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – United Supermarkets says they’ve received notice of a recall of some candy from Palmer Candy. There is concern of a potential salmonella contamination, the store says.

Chocolate caramel corn (UPC code 20942400000) and candy tray (UPC code 20647600000) have been recalled. They were sold at Albertsons Market, Amigos, Market Street, and United Supermarkets in New Mexico and Texas.

Consumers who purchased the recalled candy should dispose of the products or return them for a refund. United Supermarkets says there have been no known reports of illness, but any concerned individuals should contact their doctor.
