Palestinian Gunman Opens Fire at Checkpoint Near Jewish Settlement

Three Israelis were killed and another reportedly wounded when a Palestinian gunman opened fire at a check point near Har Adar, a Jewish settlement in the occupied West Bank, on Tuesday morning, September 26.

The gunman, named as 37-year-old Nimer Jamal, was shot and killed at the scene. In a cabinet meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Jamal’s home would be demolished and Israeli work permits revoked for his extended family.
