Pakistan Army outplay British Army in first T20 of tri-match series

Islamabad, Nov. 5 (ANI): Pakistan Army XI won the first match of the Twenty20 tri-match series held at Rawalpindi Club by defeating United Kingdom Army XI by 9 wickets. UK Army, who won the toss and opted to bat first, could manage only 85 in the allotted 20 overs. Mohammad Nasir, Mohammad Shoaib and Shafiqur Rehman grabbed two wickets apiece. Pakistan Army raced home to the target in the 11th over, reports the Daily Times. A large number of people, including a representative from the British Embassy and other cricket lovers attended the match. Naik Mir Azam bagged the 'Man of the Match' award for scoring 40 runs. (ANI)
