Hand-painted trellis wallpaper by Gracie lines the sunroom of a <a rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/bunny-williams-virginia-home-article?mbid=synd_yahoo_rss" target="_blank" data-ylk="slk:Virginia home;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas" class="link ">Virginia home</a> designed by Bunny Williams; the burled-walnut dining table is 19th century, the painted shell-back chairs are from John Rosselli Antiques, and the topiary at left is planted in an antique urn from Treillage.

Painted furniture and a blue, white, and green palette freshen a <a rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/nancy-morton-boca-grande-florida-home-article?mbid=synd_yahoo_rss" target="_blank" data-ylk="slk:master bedroom in Florida;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas" class="link ">master bedroom in Florida</a>. Brackets from John Rosselli hang above a Louis J. Solomon faux-bamboo desk with custom-painted decoration by Bob Christian; the curtain fabric is by Brunschwig & Fils, a Clarence House stripe covers the slipper chair, and the sea-grass carpet is by Stark.

Architect Benedikt Bolza designed a guest room's yellow twin steel beds in his <a rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/architect-benedikt-bolza-umbria-italy-farmhouse-article?mbid=synd_yahoo_rss" target="_blank" data-ylk="slk:Umbria, Italy, home;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas" class="link ">Umbria, Italy, home</a>; his wife, Nencia, hand-painted the floor.

In the dining area of <a rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/bette-midler-manhattan-penthouse-article?mbid=synd_yahoo_rss" target="_blank" data-ylk="slk:Bette Midler's lush New York apartment;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas" class="link ">Bette Midler's lush New York apartment</a>, the neoclassical painted chairs are Swedish antiques, and the wood table was custom made by Architectural Furniture.

Black cabinetry complements the dark chevron floors and vintage bobbin chairs in the kitchen of fashion designer Roubi L’Roubi and Belgian financier Pierre Lagrange’s <a rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/veere-grenney-designed-roubi-l-roubi-london-townhouse-article?mbid=synd_yahoo_rss" target="_blank" data-ylk="slk:London penthouse;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas" class="link ">London penthouse</a>, which was designed by Veere Grenney.

A lacquered Parsons-style table makes a modern statement in the dining room of a <a rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/thomas-jayne-philadelphia-townhouse-article?mbid=synd_yahoo_rss" target="_blank" data-ylk="slk:Philadelphia townhouse;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas" class="link ">Philadelphia townhouse</a> decorated by Thomas Jayne Studio.

Coco and Arie Kopelman's retreat in <a rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/arie-kopelman-nantucket-house-article?mbid=synd_yahoo_rss" target="_blank" data-ylk="slk:Nantucket, Massachusetts;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas" class="link ">Nantucket, Massachusetts</a>, was renovated with Botticelli & Pohl Architects and Nantucket House Antiques and Interior Design Studios. In the living room, antique wicker seating flanks an 18th-century Swedish grain-painted side table; the cocktail table was custom made, and the ladder-back chair is 19th century.
