A classical music fan has been arrested for playing the same piece of music for 16 years.

The woman, from Slovakia, drove her neighbours mad after blasting out a four minute aria from Giuseppe Verdi’s ‘La Traviata’ non-stop from morning until night, according to media reports.

She originally played the music loud to drown out barking from a neighbour’s dog, according to news site, Parameter.sk.

But long after the dog stopped, the woman, identified only as Eva N., kept playing the classical music, much to the anger of neighbours.
