Padres Pedal the Cause cancer benefit kicks off Sunday

SAN DIEGO (FOX5/KUSI) — The Padres Pedal the Cause event is returning this weekend, honoring those who have been impacted by cancer.

Since 2013, thousands of survivors, fighters, family and friends, as well as supporters have joined together for the event. Proceeds from the fundraising go towards future cancer research.

There are multiple ways to participate in Sunday’s event, which takes place at Petco Park. There’s a bike ride, spin class, a 5K run and even a kids’ challenge.
