Packers, Lions Meet With Division On The Line
The NFC North title is on the line when the Green Bay Packers (9-6) face the Detroit Lions (9-6) at Ford Field on Sunday night. The Packers enter the final game of the regular season riding a five-game winning streak, while the Lions are looking to avoid losing three consecutive games.
Both clubs are dealing with injuries, with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers missing among his top targets. Wide receiver Randall Cobb, who sat out last week's game against the Minnesota Vikings, is listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Offensive lineman J.C. Tretter (knee) has also been listed as questionable. Meanwhile, running back James Starks remains sidelined with a concussion and has been ruled out.
Mike McCarthy's defense is also dealing with injuries with cornerback Damarious Randall (shoulder) and linebackers Joe Thomas (back) and Jayrone Elliott (hand) each listed as questionable.
Detroit listed running back Theo Riddick (wrist) and center Travis Swanson (concussion) as doubtful, while running back Andre Roberts (shoulder) has been listed as questionable. On defense, the Lions also listed linebacker DeAndre Levy (knee) and cornerback Darius Slay (hamstring) as questionable.
The Lions haven't won a division title since 1993. The Packers are seeking their first division title since 2014.
The Packers, who held off the Lions 34-27 in Week 3, are favored by three points, according to Vegas Insider. Earlier in the week, the Packers held a 3.5-point advantage.
