New P. Terry’s location opens in east Austin
AUSTIN (KXAN)– P. Terry’s just opened its 32nd location in east Austin, located at 2425 E. Seventh St.
This location has a double drive-thru with a walk up service and patio, the restaurant said in a news release Thursday.
“Having a presence in East Austin is something we’ve been working on for literally several years,” Patrick Terry, CEO of P. Terry’s, said in the release.
KXAN has previously looked at how P. Terry’s is growing in the Central Texas area.
When it comes to eyeing a new location, then P. Terry’s CEO Todd Coerver told KXAN in 2022, it’s a threefold conversation based on population density, the target demographics of potential customers in the area and if surrounding tenants would support business.
“We could literally put several hundred locations in Texas before we have to think about moving outside the state. That’s just how big Texas is from a population and geography standpoint,” Coerver said in 2022. “So in terms of the immediate horizon for us, we’re going to continue to grow in Central Texas, in the Austin and San Antonio metro areas, and those areas in between and up and down I-35. And then, next stop for us, we’ve got Houston in our sights.”
The East Austin location is open from 7 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Thursday and open until 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. On Sundays, the hours are 8 a.m. to midnight. More information on the location and menu can be found online.
