S.P.L.A.S.H. Summit for swimming safety to be held by Izzy Scott Foundation and The Kroc Center

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – In July of 2022, four year old Israel Scott drowned during a private swim lesson in Burke County.

The tragedy led Georgia lawmakers to pass Izzy’s law designed to protect children and adults around water.

The Israel Scott foundation and the Kroc Center are teaming up for water safety.

Last week, Izzy’s parents Dori and Walt Scott joined Mary Morrison at noon to talk about the event.

The S.P.L.A.S.H. Summit is April 20 at the Kroc Center in Augusta.

You can visit the Kroc Center’s website to register online, or visit the Israel Scott Foundation booth on Saturday, April 20th.
