Ozzy Osbourne Says Marriage to Sharon 'Back on Track' After Cheating Rumors – and Calls Split a 'Bump in the Road'

Ozzy Osbourne called his split with wife Sharon Osbourne amid cheating rumors "a bump in the road" and insisted he's "back on track again."

The 67-year-old rocker talked about the status of his marriage on Good Morning America Monday as he promoted his new History Channel show with son Jack – Ozzy and Jack's World Detour.

"It's just a bump in the road, that's all it is," Ozzy said, before adding, "I'm back on track again."

Jack, who wed Lisa Osbourne in 2012, chimed in on his father's behalf: "As a married person, marriage is not like, 'Hey, we're married. All is good.' It's just life."

"And we both lived happily ever after," Ozzy chimed in. "I'd like to find the person who wrote that and poke him in the eye with a burnt stick."

The Black Sabbath singer said his marriage has had ups and downs, but that doesn't mean the couple are over for good.

"Some days good, some days terrible, some days you just drift apart for a while," he said. "But you get back on the horse, you know."

Sharon and Ozzy were spotted shopping together at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills, California, on Sunday. It's the second time in a week that they spent casual time together.

"They're happy hanging out together," a friend told PEOPLE last week – though the source stopped short of saying they were back together. "She's got U.K. X Factor soon and will be traveling over for that."

After news of Sharon and Ozzy's split after 33 years of marriage broke in May, Sharon address rumors that Ozzy had an affair, allegedly with his hairstylist.

"I'm 63 years of age, and I can't keep living like this," Sharon said on her show The Talk.

Osbourne admitted that she kicked her husband out but now "he's back, and now I'm out of the house."

"It's right for me because I, honestly, at this point today, have no idea what I'm going to be doing for the rest of my life," she acknowledged. "I just need time to think: 'What do I really want for the rest of my life?' Because this is like getting to the last chapter of this book. And I really need to think very carefully about where I want to go."
