Oxnard College class of 2024 celebrates success at Condor Stadium

A procession of students in gleaming blue robes filed under a blue-and-green balloon arch into Condor Stadium at Oxnard College on Thursday evening, the first county community college graduates of the year.

More than 1,300 Oxnard College students graduated this spring, with many collecting their degrees and certificates in front of friends and family during Thursday's commencement. Moorpark College and Ventura College followed with ceremonies on Friday.

Some graduates cheered and held their degrees aloft as they left the stage. Others waved to family. Before the ceremony, several posed with the college mascot, a blue and green condor.
