Oxford Industries names Genuine Parts Chairman and CEO Thomas Gallagher to its board

ATLANTA (AP) -- Oxford Industries Inc. said Thursday that its shareholders elected Thomas Gallagher to the company's board.

Gallagher is chairman and CEO of Genuine Parts Co. and previously was on Oxford's board from 1991 to 2007.

Atlanta-based Oxford owns the Tommy Bahama, Lilly Pulitzer, Ben Sherman, Lanier Clothes and Ben Sherman clothing lines. In afternoon trading, its shares fell $2.37, or 3.7 percent, to $61.10 amid a broad market decline.
