Mild winter conditions continue, a few showers Thursday night

EVENING: Clear west, cloudy east. Mild. Temps near 40.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and mild. Low 34.

THURSDAY: A little more sun, mild. High 50.

Wednesday wraps up our mild and damp January. This month averaged 4 degrees warmer than average with total rain (and snow/liquid equivalent) at 5.82″ This will end up as our 5th wettest January on record.

Some of us are experiencing some clearing this evening and that will allow temperatures to drop near freezing overnight.

Tomorrow may bring some peeks of sun by the afternoon and it will also be the mildest day this week with highs reaching right around 50°. Thursday night into Friday will bring another weak system crossing through with a few rain showers developing overnight.

Friday is Groundhog Day and Phil should have a mostly cloudy and mild one to deliver his winter prediction.

The weekend brings lots of sun and mild afternoons in the mid 40s. Not often do we have a weekend in winter with sunny skies and highs almost 10 degrees warmer than average. Not a bad idea to make some outdoor plans!
