Thousands without power in Monroe County

EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — Amid a weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service, thousands of residents in Monroe County and beyond are without power.

Between PPL, Pennelec, and Met-Ed, thousands are without power.

Gas leak shuts down section of Olyphant

In total, approximately 5,500 customers are without power as of 4:00 a.m. Tuesday morning with a majority of the outages located in Monroe and Wayne counties.
