The ceremony also allowed students to visit the admissions tables set up in the gym lobby where seniors engaged with AAMU representatives, reviewed their transcripts and ACT scores, and learned more about the application process.

The event was organized by the HBCU Awareness Foundation. Their goal is to connect high school seniors with opportunities at Alabama A&M.

Alabama A&M is preparing to celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2025. As a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, AAMU representatives say the school is known for its rich history and commitment to educational excellence.
