Over 250 Long Island pizzerias unite to benefit fallen police officers

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Restaurant owners across Long Island are teaming up to support fallen NYPD Detective Jonathan Diller’s family.

Over 250 pizzerias will donate $5 from every pizza sold on Wednesday, April 17.

‘We stay together’: NY community unites at fundraiser held in honor of slain cop

The funds raised will go to Diller’s family, who live in Massapequa Park, as well as law enforcement-related charities, including Beyond the Badge NY, Project Thank a Cop, and the Silver Shield Foundation.
