Over 1,000 residents without power northeast of Columbus

(WRBL) — Strong storms are continuing to pass through Friday morning. Some areas north of Columbus are seeing power outages in the midst of those conditions.

Over 1,000 residents towards Midland and Ellerslie are without power as of about 6:30 a.m., according to the Georgia Power outage map.

482 residents in the area of County Line Road are without power, while 631 residents towards Ellerslie are also experiencing outages.

The outage at Harris Road and Edgewater seems to be due to a downed powerline. The road is blocked at this time.
