Over 1,000 consumers are out of power in Meridian Twp.

This story has been updated to reflect the amount of consumers who now have their power restored. 81 consumers are currently without power as of 1:20 p.m.

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– More than 1,000 Consumers Energy customers are currently out of power in Meridian Township/ Holt.

At this time, the cause of the power outage is unknown. Consumers Energy says the time of restoration will be 5:30 tonight.
