Outlander season 7 part 2 has finally confirmed its release window.

Starz will premiere the first of the eight upcoming episodes in November this year following a major delay caused by the concurrent SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, Deadline reports.

To celebrate this exciting news, a behind-the-scenes gallery was uploaded on the historical drama's Instagram, teasing the returns of Jamie and Claire Fraser, Brianna Fraser MacKenzie, and Roger MacKenzie.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy last summer, Outlander executive producer Maril Davis previewed what fans can expect from the second part of season 7.

On Claire, Jamie and Ian potentially visiting Lallybroch in the 18th century, she replied: "That's what was so crazy about the season for our art department, it was really tough knowing we would have all these time periods at Lallybroch.

"We could only handle so much because you can't really turn around the sets that quickly and we are going to see Lallybroch in at least two time periods with Jamie and Claire potentially and with Brianna and Roger in a different time period."

Davis added that it was "exciting to see the changes" to Lallybroch in the different time periods.

November's drama of course paves the way for Outlander's eighth and final season.

Caitriona Balfe, who plays Claire, previously told DS of the impending end: "It's going to be so weird. It's been such an amazing ride that it's nice to wrap it up while we all still love each other and we are all still feeling like we're making a good show.

"But at the same time, it's going to be really hard to say goodbye to these characters. It's going to be really hard to say goodbye to each other and not have that kind of constant contact."

Outlander airs on Starz in the US, and streams on Lionsgate+ in the UK.
