Longtime Ward One Council member Tom Sopher said on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, that he doesn’t have any regrets and that he would focus on serving the city in other ways.

“I’m not disappointed, not at all,” Sopher said. “I feel like, maybe, this chapter of my life is closed, and another door will open for me. I’ve volunteered all my life, and I feel strongly something else will come about.”
