Oshkosh woman says an unknown man entered her home, touched her, then fled. Police need the public's help finding him.

A Oshkosh woman says an unknown man entered her home in the early morning hours Friday, had a physical interaction with her, and then fled. Police are asking for help from residents to help find the man.

The Oshkosh Police Department said the incident took place at a residence in the 1500 block of Covington Drive.

According to police, an unknown man entered the woman's home around 5:30 a.m., then "had physical contact with her," but she was not injured in the incident. The woman reported the incident at 6:36 a.m., police said.

The woman said the man was wearing dark clothing and a cloth face mask covering the lower half of his face.

Police are asking residents in the area where this occurred, who have video surveillance cameras, to review their footage and see is the suspect was recorded from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m.
