Oshkosh police find 68-year-old woman dead on Venture Drive; incident not regarded as suspicious

OSHKOSH ― A 68-year-old Oshkosh woman was found dead Monday in the 1900 block of Venture Drive.

Oshkosh Police Department confirmed the news after responding to a report of a dead body laying on the ground around 8:47 a.m. April 8.

Officers found the woman’s body on the grass when they arrived on the scene.

According to a news release, Oshkosh Police Department and Winnebago County Coroner’s Office are investigating the incident, which isn’t being regarded as suspicious.
