New Orleans’ Higgins Hotel earns Gold Badge on ‘Best Hotels’ list

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The Higgins Hotel and Conference Center, which is The National WWII Museum’s hotel, took home the Gold Badge in the 2024 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hotels ranking.

A news release stated the Gold Badge acknowledges that the hotel is among the top 25% of ranked luxury hotels, resorts or all-inclusive resorts.

The annual ranking highlights more than 37,000 hotels across 400 destinations.

“This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. We extend our gratitude to our dedicated team and loyal patrons for their continuous support,” said Higgins Hotel and Conference Center General Manager Daniel Rhodes.

“Named after Higgins Industries shipbuilder Andrew Higgins, The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center is located on The National WWII Museum’s campus in the heart of the New Orleans Arts and Warehouse District. The art deco-style property features 230 guest rooms, a second-floor conference center with more than 18,000 square feet of meeting space, a full-service restaurant, rooftop bar, and concierge lounge for special guests,” according to Rhodes.
