New Orleans band Water Seed creates ‘Journey to Funkstar’ with upcoming immersive show

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — If you haven’t seen the New Orleans band Water Seed yet, well now is your chance. The band will be at The Hangar for a special immersive show combining music and technology.

Music lineup announced for 2024 Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo

Water Seed’s upcoming show, “Journey to Funkstar” embarks fans on a cosmic voyage into the realm of intergalactic funk with an unforgettable dance party and concert. Water Seed will transform the venue into an audiovisual spectacle for any music aficionado.

Water Seed’s “Journey to Funkstar” takes place Friday, March 22 at The Hangar at 1511 Rendon St. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show is at 9 p.m. For ticket information visit the Journey to Funkstar website.
