The task force will focus on future exhibitions and lining up exhibits for 2024, which is the museum’s Centennial.

After the former director left the museum, the task force has chosen to vet future exhibitions and review museum policies regarding those pieces.

OMA trustees Mark Elliot and Nancy Wolf will lead the group.

“The Task Force has engaged an independent outside law firm to assist with examining oversight procedures for the review and approval process of exhibitions,” Elliott said. “We will also seek to identify ways to strengthen stewardship of OMA’s expanding permanent collection.”
