Orlando man dies in crash on I-75 in Pasco

A 27-year-old Orlando man has died after he collided with another vehicle on Interstate 75 in Pasco County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The Orlando man was driving a pickup truck on I-75 near milepost 277 when he attempted to change from the inside center lane to the inside lane around 3 p.m. Friday, troopers said. He struck the right side of a sedan driving in the inside lane, the Highway Patrol said in a news release.

Both vehicles rotated and came to a rest in the median, the release said. The pickup truck driver was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from his vehicle. Troopers said he died at the scene.
