'The Originals' stars post behind-the-scenes photos from series finale

Always and forever has come to an end… at least for the cast and crew.

The Originals has officially wrapped its fifth and final season, with the last scene they shot involving brothers Klaus and Elijah sitting on a bench in the French Quarter, much like the backdoor pilot (which aired during The Vampire Diaries‘ fourth season). Also like the backdoor pilot, the cast actually got to fly to New Orleans to film the finale.

One important takeaway from all the posts? Klaroline fans will be happy to hear that Candice King did make the trip down South to film the finale.
