Organ Mountain boys suffer 47-34 loss to Volcano Vista in state title game
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (KTSM) – The Organ Mountain boys basketball team suffered a 47-34 loss to Volcano Vista in the New Mexico high school boys basketball 5A state championship game at The Pit on Saturday night.

Volcano Vista was led by Kenyon Aguino as he scored 18 points, making 9-of-14 free throws in the contest. David Lunn added 14 points and Rian Gonzales pitched in 11 points.
Organ Mountain’s leading scorer was Yeh Nhi Wilson as he recorded 11 points in the contest.
Organ Mountain ends its season with a 29-2 record. Both of those losses coming against Volcano Vista in the 2023-24 season.
This is the third straight year Volcano Vista won the state 5A championship.
