Orange County firefighters rescue dog trapped inside wall
Firefighters were called to an Orange County home over the weekend after a dog entered a small crawl space and got stuck.
The mischievous pup named “Faye” found herself inside the wall of her Garden Grove home after squeezing through a small plumbing access door on Sunday, the Orange County Fire Authority posted on Instagram.
Faye’s family tried for hours to coax her out of an area under their bathtub, but eventually, they needed firefighters to help with the rescue.
Video showed Faye’s rescuers using a mallet to break a hole in the wall. After a few minutes, Faye stuck her head out through the opening and was eventually able to crawl out.
“This pup was pretty happy to see the firefighters’ friendly faces and reunite with loved ones,” the post read.

Apparently, Faye’s predicament wasn’t surprising to her owners, who told firefighters she was probably already planning her next bit of mischief.
“Who knows…maybe we’ll see her again soon! 🐶,” the Fire Authority responded.
