Online bill pay option restored for Pensacola Energy and Sanitation Services: City

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — The City of Pensacola reported Monday that the online bill pay option for Pensacola Energy and Sanitation Services customers has been restored. This comes after a network security incident caused issues with city phones, emails, and communication services.

“We appreciate the patience of our customers as we worked to restore this popular payment method,” a release from the city said. “Additionally, we thank those who had to rearrange their schedules to make in-person payments or make payments via mail.”

Officials say that customers will not be charged any late fees due to the online bill pay option being out of service. Late fees will not be issued until May 1 because the feature was unavailable for three weeks, according to Pensacola Mayor D.C. Reeves.

Those who have questions can contact Pensacola Energy at 850-474-5300 or Pensacola Sanitation Services at 850-435-1890.

The Pensacola 311 Citizen Support Network is also available online.
