One of World's Largest Rabbits Dies Mysteriously After Flight on United
In yet another blow to United Airlines, a giant rabbit named Simon has been found dead after a flight from London to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport.

The continental giant rabbit was found dead in the same airport where Dr. David Dao was violently dragged off an overbooked United flight earlier this month.
Annette Edwards, a giant rabbit breeder from England, says the three-foot-long bunny died during a layover at O'Hare.
In a statement, United said the rabbit in question was placed in the kennel shortly after his arrival. His ultimate destination was Kansas City.
"He appeared to be sleeping. We checked again several minutes later and he appeared motionless. We then inspected the crate and determined he had sadly passed,” the airline said.
"The safety and well-being of all animals that travel with them is of the utmost importance to them," the statement went on.

Continental giant rabbits are the largest breed of rabbits in existence. They can grow to be more than four-feet-long.
Simon weighed 19 pounds and had ears that were 10 and a half inches long.
