One teen killed, another wounded in separate NYC shootings Thursday

Gunfire rang out on Cauldwell St. near near E. 158th St. in the Woodstock section of the Bronx around 4:15 p.m., cops said.

When police arrived at the scene, a 17-year-old boy was suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.

Police are searching for a teen gunman wearing a black and purple hoodie who ran off after he shot the boy, sources cop said.

Just over an hour later, more gunfire erupted outside the Howard Houses near the corner of East New York Ave. and Mother Gaston Blvd. in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Two men took off on foot after the shooting, police said.
