One seriously injured in wreck

Dec. 4—VALDOSTA — One person was seriously injured Saturday in a single-vehicle accident.

Police officers responded to Skipper Bridge Road near the intersection with Aslan Place to a wreck, a Valdosta Police Department statement said.

The vehicle's driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital, the police said.

The case is being investigated by the police traffic unit; no more details are being released at this time, the statement said.
