One person shot in Bettendorf

UPDATE: Bettendorf Police arrested Tanasha Robinson, 32, on charges of assault and intimidation with a dangerous weapon. Police say Robinson got into an argument with a 17-year-old and then left to go home and get a gun. Police say Robinson went back to find the teen and opened fire, shooting the victim in the foot.

UPDATE: One person was shot around 2:30 p.m. March 27 after a fight escalated into gunfire. Police believe they have the suspect in custody. Police report there is no danger to the public. Our Quad Cities News saw officers seen picking up shell casings on the scene, and around a dozen squad cars and an armored police vehicle were on site.


Police are on the scene at Hillside and Hawthorne Drives in Bettendorf near the former site of Old Chicago.

Our Quad Cities News received confirmation that one person was hit by a bullet during a shooting incident.
