One person injured after a northeast Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A person is in critical condition after a shooting in northeast Columbus Friday night.

According to Columbus Police dispatchers, police were called to the 1800 block of Schrock Road around 8:12 p.m. on reports of a shooting. At the scene, officers found the victim lying in the road.

One person was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition and is expected to survive their injuries.

Police say there is no suspect information at this time.
