One person injured after being struck by train in SE OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — One person has been injured after being struck by a train near SE 27th Street and S Shields Boulevard on Friday afternoon.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, the person was hit my the train around 3:30 p.m., and was transported to the hospital in serious to critical condition.

Video from McIntyre Law Chopper 4 showed the train moving after crews finished clearing the scene around 4:30 p.m., so no traffic delays are anticipated for drivers in the area.
