One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 30 at Glenwood Drive in Effingham County.  According to preliminary information, the car driven by 41-year old Matthew Bargeron of Guyton hit the rear of a commercial vehicle. The accident happened at 12:15 p.m.

Bargeron was pronounced dead at the scene.
