2 suspects sought after deadly shooting on Old Aiken Rd., victim identified

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – A North Augusta man is dead after a shooting in Aiken County.

According to authorities, the incident happened on the 900 block of Old Aiken Road Wednesday night.

Aiken County Sheriff’s Office Captain Abdullah says deputies arrived on the scene to find the deceased with an apparent gunshot wound lying face down on the ground.

The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Tavaris Burley.

Authorities are searching for 29-year-old Shirlette Dainelle Hayes and 23-year-old Stephon Xzavier Dunbar. Both are wanted for Burley’s Murder and should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
