One person dead after Huntersville shooting: MEDIC

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person has died after a shooting on the outskirts of Huntersville, according to the Mecklenburg EMS Agency (MEDIC).

It is unclear when the shooting happened; however, it was first reported just after 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, in the 4600 block of Hylas Lane. This is near Prosperity Church Road.

Police have not said what led up to the shooting or if anyone has been arrested.

This fatal shooting comes a little over a week after a man was shot and killed by a Concord convenience store employee at a nearby 7-Eleven, according to authorities.
